Colombia Huila Agustino Forest

Tasting Notes: Pungently sweet, nut-toned. Carob, roasted chestnut, taffy, hints of mango and musk. Crisp, resonant acidity; lightly syrupy mouthfeel. Some flavor carries into a richly balanced finish.

Colombia Huila Agustino Forest is produced by members of COOAGUSTINOS, which is an association of approximately 800 small coffee producers from the San Agustín municipality and other communities in the department of Huila, Colombia.

Colombian coffee beans -- the really good lots -- tend to get lost amongst the millions of bags of ordinary beans, and the small farmers are doing what they can to stand out when they really have a good harvest. This is an example of a Colombian coffee that is far above average quality.
